On a trip to Brazil he first encountered the exotic Monguba flower, whose smell he reproduced for the combination. Another encounter occurred during a visit to the hospital. This expectedly sterile and scent-free room was suddenly filled with the luscious scent of a bouquet brought by a visitor. The intoxicating sweetness of the flowers caught The Nose completely unexpectedly.
