As a child, Yves Coueslant, one of the founders of the house, spent his summers in Do Son, Vietnam, in Ha Long Bay. The sea breeze carried the intoxicating, spicy scent of tuberoses. Do Son is as delicate and memorable as a childhood memory from Vietnam. The memory of a flower between lightness and sensuality.
In the Haiphong market, tuberoses, along with jasmine and ylang-ylang, were wrapped in large canna leaves for offerings.
